When is the Firefighters BBQ?

The 77th Annual Firefighters BBQ is Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm.

 

Do I need to register or buy advanced tickets?

Lunch tickets can be purchased at Town Square Park and are $15 for a smoked Tri-Tip lunch plate, including potato salad, baked beans, a roll, and a non-alcoholic beverage.  There are NO pre-sale food tickets - arrive early.


Kid's meals are $5 each and include a grilled hotdog, chips, and a drink.


Who should attend this event?

Everyone! This is open to the public, family-friendly, and free to attend. There is a nominal fee for lunch, food vendors, and libations in the beer/wine garden.

 

Can I get directions to Town Square Park?

Town Square Park is located in Murrieta, CA, near the intersection of Kalmia / Jefferson. Use the address of 11 Town Square Park, Murrieta, for GPS navigation directions.

 

What time does the event start and end?

The event officially begins at 12:00 pm at Town Square park. However, we know that schedules are busy! Therefore, you're encouraged to come and go as you please.


Where Can I park?

Free parking is available at the Murrieta Senior Center, Murrieta Public Library, and in the open fields adjacent to the park near Juniper Street / Memorial Way and Kalmia / Memorial Way. 

 

For those with E-vehicles, a limited number of charging stations are located at the Murrieta Public Library, and the first two (2) hours are free.

 

What should I wear?

Come as you are! This is a casual community BBQ, but the music will be great – feel free to dance to the live music.

 

What can guests expect?

A casual, fun environment intended to bring our community together—catch up with old friends and meet new ones!

 

What will live bands be performing?

Drumroll please... We're gearing up for an epic announcement! We know you're eager to see who's joining the party, and trust us, the wait will be worth it. In the meantime, follow us on social media for sneak peeks, hints, and maybe even a few clues about the upcoming lineup.


Which food vendors will be there?

We are currently accepting food vendors. The food vendor's fee is $300. Non-Food vendor's price is $150 each with special early bird pricing of $50 off when vendors are registered and paid before 2/29.

Is there a beer and wine garden?

Yes! Many of our local breweries and wineries sponsor the beer and wine garden. You must be 21+ to enter the garden area.

 

How can I sign up for the bag toss tournament?

Sign-ups will be on the day of the event.

 

Is smoking allowed at Town Square Park?

Sorry, smoking is not permitted at Murrieta parks or on city property.

 

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Friendly, well-behaved, and leashed dogs are welcome to attend.
