When is the Firefighters' BBQ?
The 79th Annual Firefighters BBQ is Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 noon - 6:00 pm, and is FREE to attend and open to the public!
Do I need to register or buy advanced lunch tickets?
Grab a Plate Before They’re Gone! Head over to Town Square Park to grab your lunch ticket for just $15. Our smoked Tri-Tip plates are a fan favorite and sell out every year. Each plate features our signature smoked Tri-Tip served with classic potato salad, savory baked beans, a fresh roll, and a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. Lunch is served from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (or until we sell out!). We do not offer pre-sale tickets, and our BBQ plates go fast—so be sure to arrive early to claim yours!
Who should attend this event?
Everyone! This is open to the public, family-friendly, and free to attend. There is a nominal fee for lunch, food vendors, and libations in the beer/wine garden.
Can I get directions to Town Square Park?
Town Square Park is located in Murrieta, CA, near the intersection of Kalmia / Jefferson. Use the address of 11 Town Square Park, Murrieta, for GPS navigation directions.
What time does the event start and end?
The event officially begins at 12:00 pm at Town Square Park. However, we know that schedules are busy! Therefore, you're encouraged to come and go as you please.
Where Can I park?
Free parking is available at the Murrieta Senior Center, parking lot near City Hall, and in the open fields adjacent to the park near Juniper Street / Memorial Way and Kalmia / Memorial Way.
For those with E-vehicles, a limited number of charging stations are located at the Murrieta Public Library.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! This is a casual community BBQ, but the music will be great – feel free to dance to the live music.

We’re gearing up for an epic 79th Murrieta Firefighters BBQ, featuring It’s Britney Beep—a live band tribute that is so much more than an impersonation. It’s a nostalgic celebration of Britney, the way you remember her.

Which food vendors will be there?
ALL VENDOR APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 pm March 31, 2026
$150.00 per space for retail, informational & non-profit vendors
$175.00 per space for pre-packaged food vendors
$300.00 per 10'x10' tent space for fresh-prepared food vendors (Sold out). Food vendors will be placed on a waitlist. $600.00 per food truck.
**Special early-bird pricing of $50 off when vendors register and pay before 2/29.**
All food and non-food vendors must register before 3/31 for consideration.

Is there a beer-and-wine garden?
Yes! Sip, Relax, and Stay Awhile! Are you looking for the perfect pairing for your BBQ? Our Beer & Wine Garden features a curated selection of local brews and wines from our favorite community sponsors.
Entry Requirements: All guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID.
Wristbands: Required for entry and available at the garden gate.
Age Limit: No individuals under 21 are permitted inside the garden area.
How can I sign up for the bag toss tournament?
Sign-ups will be on the day of the event.
Is smoking allowed at Town Square Park?
Sorry, smoking is not permitted at Murrieta parks or on city property.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Friendly, well-behaved, and leashed dogs are welcome to attend.
Regarding E-Bikes, Bicycles, and Motorized Scooters: Due to the expected large crowds and for the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, e-bikes, bicycles, and motorized scooters are prohibited in Town Square Park during our event. Please consider parking and securing these items in designated areas outside the main event space. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and pleasant environment for everyone. Please note: This doesn't apply to people with disabilities or mobility issues who need to use motorized wheelchairs or similar devices.
What can I do after the BBQ?
As the old saying goes: You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here! We invite you to take the celebration to the heart of Downtown Murrieta. Support our local business owners and enjoy a post-BBQ dinner, drink, or dessert at one of the many great spots within walking distance of Town Square Park.
