MEDIA CREDENTIAL ELIGIBILITY:

Who Qualifies for Media Credentials.
Access and parking are provided exclusively to "working media" covering the Murrieta Firefighters BBQ for news, community interest, and entertainment purposes. Credentials are reserved for journalists, reporters, editors, videographers, and photographers who are on active assignment for an established publication, broadcast station, or recognized media outlet.

 Credential Categories

• Broadcast Media (Television & Radio): On-air anchors, reporters, hosts, and videographers/photographers.

• Print & Online Media: Newspapers, magazines, and digital news sites—specifically reporters, photographers, and editors.

• Freelance Media: Press credentials will be issued to freelance writers and photojournalists who provide valid press identification along with written confirmation of assignment (on official letterhead or from a corporate news email address) from an editor, news director, or managing authority.

• PLEASE NOTE: Individuals employed by a news media outlet within advertising, marketing, sales, or administrative roles are NOT considered "working media" actively assigned to editorial coverage of the Murrieta Firefighters BBQ, and will not be granted media credentials. 

MEDIA ACCESS:
Working media wishing to cover the Murrieta Firefighters BBQ for news and entertainment purposes may request parking and admission. To coordinate access, requests must be made before Friday, April 16, 2026.

MEDIA PARKING: 

Reserved media parking is located near Gate C at Town Square Park.

MEDIA CHECK-IN: 

Please check in at the center of the park near the First Aid and Lost & Found station to receive your media kit and lunch voucher.
